Custom Designed Architectural Metal Accents with an Artful Flair
A doctor's office asked Foreman Fabricators to give them pricing on the metal artwork accents that their building architect had designed for their brand new office. They also asked for more ideas to give them other options, so we worked closely with our artist partner and came up with several ideas to choose from, with three tiers of pricing. Foreman was thrilled when one of the doctors overruled his partners and chose what we considered to be the best looking option, because we would really get to highlight our capabilities and produce another beautiful project that would really stand out. And that’s why the doctor’s chose Foreman in the first place; they were aware of Foreman’s reputation for doing unique, unusual, high quality work…and that’s exactly what they wanted to help their building and practice get noticed.
The practice uses a caduceus symbol as a company logo, so Foreman fabricated a black painted steel frame with a sunburst pattern, overlaid with a stainless steel and bronze caduceus symbol on both sides of the sunburst. The pattern is mirrored on both sides, and is quite striking. The contrast between the materials stands out very well in the daylight and clients walk right past it as they enter the building. At night, the landscape lighting keeps the art in plain view and the sunburst pattern of the center panel is exaggerated on the building behind. All the doctor partners are now glad they went with the most eye-appealing option and tell us they are often asked who did the work for them. We were honored when they had us supply them with company literature for them to hand out for those who were curious for more information.
